Seth Werner, CEO Harbour Real Estate Investments and lifetime entrepreneur; Marcy Rosenbaum, President and Catalyst-in-Chief of Consulting Alliance and producer/host of award nominated INTERNET radio Livelihood Show;

Announce ENTREPRENEURradio, a 30 minute audio broadcast series featuring interviews with highly successful entrepreneurs, exploring what drives, shapes and distinguishes them. ENTREPRENEURradio gives people who are launching, building and growing businesses the insight they need to know in order to succeed.

ENTREPRENEURradio will broadcast in partnership with Livelihood Show on Radio Ear Network in two weekly time slots; and as a podcast available for download and subscription on iTunes and through  our website. The programs will premier in April2014.

The self-awareness that entrepreneurs bring to their ventures is a critical measurement of their capacity for success. ENTREPRENEURradio asks provocative questions about managing risk, fear, stress and failure; and how to develop the mindset of resilience, adaptability and self-awareness that separate the dreamers from the achievers. What are their keys to success, and what have they learned from their failures along the way?

Kauffman Foundation estimates put the total number of U.S. entrepreneurs at 11.5 million. Nearly 30 percent of new entrepreneurs are age 20-34. Boomers, age 45 – 54, are also a growing market sector, reflecting their increasing interest (or outright need) in becoming entrepreneurs. Ethnic groups are gaining traction as well: nearly 40% of the nation’s current 11.5 million entrepreneurs belong to non-Caucasian ethnicities; 23% percent are Latino. (Forbes)

ENTREPRENEURradio will launch from the platform of the successful INTERNET radio program Livelihood: Creating What’s Next on Your Personal Career Path.

Seth Werner is Chairman / CEO of Harbour Real Estate Investments and co-founder of the Strategic Forum. Harbour Real Estate Investments is a company dedicated to investing in commercial real estate in the southeastern United States. The Strategic Forum is an organization of business leaders dedicated to the exchange of ideas, the development of long term personal and business relationships and the facilitation of business opportunities among members and their respective networks.

Seth has a passion for launching new businesses. His track record includes leveraging forty years of commercial real estate experience and entrepreneurial savvy into building a series of successful companies, leading two publicly traded companies.

He received his BA from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, working his way through college with a number of jobs, including stints as a short order cook, a bartender and a cab driver. He believes in continuing to learn and recently completed the nation’s premier executive education program for directors and senior executives of publicly traded firms at the Stanford Law School Directors’ College. He is also a teacher, and during his “gap year” between building companies, he designed and taught a course called “Psychology of Entrepreneurship” at the University of Miami business school.

As Malcolm Gladwell describes in The Tipping Point, Seth is a connector: someone with an extraordinary knack for making friends and building relationships with a social circle that casts a net which is both deep and wide. A perfect example: his co-founding of the Strategic Forum which fosters business alliances while also mentoring MBA students at Nova Southeastern University.

Seth is launching his next venture with ENTREPRENEURradio.org. In the spirit of his “Psychology of Entrepreneurship” course, he’s turning his focus to understanding the mindset of successful business people: what shapes them, what drives them and what sustains them.

A native of Miami Beach, Seth takes advantage of Florida weather to play golf and tennis every week. He is an avid reader and skier and along with his wife Annette Franqui, enjoys the Miami Heat, the Jon Stewart show, and Sunday brunch watching the CBS Sunday Morning show.

Marcy launched her career helping a small aspiring office equipment business achieve Inc. 500 ranking. On Wall Street, she was part of the technology transformation that piloted the first internal email systems which rewrote the rules of access and information sharing. She created her first company, Consulting Alliance, to design customized workshops for companies confronting intensive strategic changes in the marketplace.

After the attacks on September 11, 2001, she looked for opportunities to make a larger difference. She fulfilled that vision as a conference planner with the ADL/Joint Terrorism Task Force Conference. Later, she served as Director of Leadership and Professional Development of the Mandel Center in Palm Beach, helping the community work through the difficulties created by the financial crisis, and the Madoff fraud scandal, in 2008.

Listening to NPR during her long commute between Miami and Palm Beach, she was inspired with the dream of radio hosting and producing. She recognized the role of internet and social media technology as a platform for communication and learning. In 2010 she launched Livelihood: Creating What’s Next on your Personal Career Path, an internet radio show, broadcast on Radio Ear Network. Within two years she had produced nearly 50 sixty-minute interview shows featuring career innovators and pathfinders. In 2012, New Media Expo’s Podcast Choice Awards recognized Livelihood in Best Business and Best Produced categories. She valued the experience of drawing out the stories of career disrupters and of insights business insurgents.

In partnership with Seth Werner, Marcy Rosenbaum recently launched The Entrepreneurs Workshop, a 501c3 organization that provides education and scholarship opportunities to entrepreneurs who are launching, building and growing businesses. Their audio broadcast series, ENTREPRENEURradio.org, features interviews with successful entrepreneurs, and explores what drives, shapes and distinguishes them.

Marcy holds a Master of Science degree from American University in Washington, D.C. and a certificate in training and facilitation with the NTL Institute, where she met her future husband, Barry Nierenberg, in an “encounter” group. They’re into jazz and world music. Her least favorite word is “no”.
